Jars of ground cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cardamom

Go-To Oatmeal Spice Blend

Jump to Recipe

This versatile spice blend is on the menu almost every morning in my oatmeal. It is essentially my version of a pumpkin pie spice. It is also great for apple, peach, or berry pies and cobblers. Making up a large batch of the spices saves time so I’m not getting out half a dozen spices every morning.

Simply place your desired spices in a jar, leaving enough room to shake. Secure a lid, shake it up, and it’s ready to use! This batch lasts almost 2 months when I’m using ½ teaspoon every day in my oatmeal.
