Taking a closer look at my “What I Eat in a Day” videos, today I show you how to use Cronometer. While I don’t normally track my food, using a food tracking tool like Cronometer occasionally can be useful.
Whether you’re brand new to a vegan or plant-based diet or you’re an old pro, it’s always good to go over the basics. Even the most diligently health-conscious can slip into poor habits. When this happens plugging your food into a tracking app can show you where you’re nutrition might be lacking.
This can also be helpful to show concerned family and friends. When you go vegan, suddenly everyone around you turns into a self-proclaimed nutritionist. Using Cronometer, you can actually show your concerned friends and family that you are in fact easily getting all you protein, iron, and calcium, or whatever other nutrient they may wonder about.
So check out my latest video to see a brief overview of how to use Cronometer and a deep dive into the nutrition of my full day of eating videos. And if you want to see exactly what I ate those days, don’t miss my What I Eat playlist.
