It seems like chopping an onion should be pretty easy, right? But if you’ve never done it before, I can understand how it might be intimidating. Plus if you watch other people to learn, you’ll find that everyone does it slightly differently.
So how do you figure out the best way to do it? You could go through some trial an error, trying the common methods you see others using. And practice makes perfect, so you’ll probably do just fine. But I want to save you from some of that struggle.
There are two common ways I generally see people chopping onions. And they work well enough, but have some major downsides. Instead, my method is simple has few steps and fixes the problems with the common chopping methods.
