Vegan Blood Work Update: Two Years Vegan

I recently had my annual doctor visit and we decided to get some lab drawn. I shared my lab results last year after being vegan one year. After two years, I wanted to make sure everything was still going well, and ensure my B12 supplementation was still adequate.

I eat a varied, whole food vegan diet, and I’m physically and mentally feeling better than ever. So I didn’t expect anything of major concern, but it’s nice to check every once in awhile to be sure. This year I had many things to celebrate and a couple things to take note of. Check out my test results in today’s video!

Remember, this is just my individual experience. While vegans eating a whole food diet generally tend to be healthy, always be sure to check in with your doctor or a registered dietitian whenever concerned about your nutrition or health.
