Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 ounces mixed lettuces and greens

  • 1 small carrot, cut in a few pieces

  • 1 rib celery, cut in a few pieces

  • 2 or 3 inch piece of cucumber, cut in a few pieces

  • ½ red bell pepper (or other sweet pepper)

  • 1 tomato, quartered

  • ⅛ large red onion (more or less to taste)

  • 1 garlic clove (more or less to taste)

  • ¼ frozen apple, cut into cubes

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 2 cups water (adjust as needed depending on ingredients used)

  • Optional: 1 tablespoon hempseeds (or other kind of nuts or seeds)

Directions

  • Add ingredients in the order listed to a high powered blender like a Vitamix or Blendtec.*
  • Blend for about 30 to 60 seconds.

  • You can use any kind of blender, but a high powered blender will produce the best result.
