What I Eat: Dr. Goldner’s Goodbye Lupus Protocol

Today I’m showing you how to follow Dr. Brooke Goldner’s Goodbye Lupus Protocol. I’ll show you everything I’m eating through the day and break down all the details of the protocol.

If you missed it, you might want to check out my Hyper-nourishment video first as it forms the foundation of the Goodbye Lupus Protocol.

The video answers all the common questions of the protocol. But basically the protocol requires a minimum of a pound of raw veggies (up to as much as you can tolerate), 96 ounces of water (no more than a gallon or less depending on body weight), and a half a cup of ground flax or chia seeds each day.

Watch the video for a deep dive into the protocol, but you can see a snapshot of what I ate below. I tried several recipes from Dr. G’s new recipe book Goodbye Lupus, Hello Delicious.

Breakfast

Woman holding a mason jar smoothie and smiling

I started the day with a Berry Cauliflower smoothie from the new book. This was my first time trying a cauliflower smoothie and I was pleasantly surprised!

Lunch

Small bowl of gazpacho next to a plate with swiss chard veggie wraps

For lunch I tried two more recipes from Dr. G’s book: gazpacho and swiss chard wraps. The wraps were actually supposed to be collard wraps, but my store was all out of collard greens, so I substituted swiss chard leaves instead. Both of these recipes were very refreshing and flavorful.

Dinner

Plate of sliced celery, peppers, cucumbers, swiss chard wraps, and bowl of "broccomoli" dip

For dinner I had a large plate of veggies with “Broccomoli” from the new book. This is like guacamole but with broccoli added! It made a great veggie dip!

Snacks

Left: glass bowl of cherry chia pudding with mint garnish. Right: Bowl of cauliflower "nice cream"

I also had a couple snacks throughout the day including a chia pudding that I made up, and a cauliflower nice cream from Dr. G’s book.
